Apple to Ship Mac OS X “Tiger” on April 29

Release includes more than 200 innovative new features.

Worldwide Developers Conference 2005Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger” and Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger” Server are scheduled to ship on Friday, April 29. In the press release, Apple CEO Steve Jobs describes Mac OS X Tiger as “the most innovative and secure desktop operating system ever created.”

Developers can use the new core technologies and tools in Tiger to build the next generation of innovative Mac OS X applications. If your ADC membership includes access to system software, you'll receive Tiger in the May Developer Mailing, scheduled to begin shipping on April 29.

MacDevFr is a new association of French speaking Mac OS X developers and system administrators who share their knowledge of Apple technologies. MacDevFr maintains a website in French, hosts technical discussions via a mailing list*, and organizes local events and meetings.
