All Apple Developer Connection members can download the newly released Xcode 2.2 at no cost from the ADC Member Site. Xcode 2.2 includes improved debugging features and powerful enhancements to the compiler, the build system, and the CodeWarrior project importer. The Xcode 2.2 User Guide has also been fully updated and now includes a brand new chapter, “Building Universal Binaries,” to help make your transition to Intel-based Macs easier.

New Mac Game Development Contest Launched
The OMG (Original Mac Games) Cup is a new game programming contest established by iDevGames, in connection with Freeverse Software, to encourage unique Mac game development. All qualifying entrants will receive a free game from Freeverse Software, and the top three finalists will be awarded cash prizes. Deadline for entry is November 28, 2005.
