[1] Java Tool News: Aqua Data Studio 4.0, JPedal 2.3.1
Aqua Data Studio 4.0 from AquaFold is a database query and
administration tool that allows developers to easily create, edit,
and execute SQL scripts. This version features an enhanced and
customizable query analzyer, visual editing for security, variable
binding, and more.
JPedal 2.3.1 from IDRsolutions is a "100% Java" PDF developer library that
allows the viewing, printing, and extraction of both text and images from
PDF files. This version uses a smaller memory footprint for viewing files,
and improves decoding and rendering speeds. It also adds a new interface to
the demonstration viewer application.

Start working with Audio Units, Apple's audio plug-in technology, by

Originally published more than ten years ago, "Danny Goodman's
AppleScript Handbook" is considered one of the most essential

thoroughly updated for Mac OS X and is available as a PDF eBook from
Spiderworks, LLC.

[5] Mac OS X Tool News: BugReporter 1.0, Eggplant 2.1
Eggplant 2.1 from Redstone Software is the automated, cross-platform
test tool for Mac OS X. Designed for GUI-level testing, Eggplant
combines image-capture-and-compare technology with a powerful
scripting language to automate tests and other repetitive tasks.
This version features an improved image capture panel, new functions
for working with dates and times in scripts, and enhanced access to
file system information.
BugReporter 1.0 from Zonic is a tool for improving customer feedback after a
crash. BugReporter captures "Crash Logs" and sends them directly to the
appropriate developer. Reports can be delivered by email or http directly into a
bug-tracking database. BugReporter supports both Carbon and Cocoa, from either
Xcode or CodeWarrior.
