WWDC 2004: Onsite Badging
Onsite badging and walk-in registration, located in the Moscone West Convention Center, will be open during these times:
- Saturday, June 26, from 5PM to 8 PM
- Sunday, June 27 from 7 AM to 8 PM
Several streets near the convention center will be closed on
Sunday for a special event. Please allow for extra travel time.
- Monday, June 28 starting at 7 AM
If you already have a WWDC 2004 E-ticket, we advise you to pick up your badge early to avoid the crowds on Monday morning. WWDC is also open to walk-in registration all week, space permitting. We hope to see you there!

[1] New Release: Apple/Genentech BLAST Updated
Apple/Genentech BLAST has been updated to correspond to NCBI BLAST 2.2.9. The new A/G BLAST is optimized for use with the Power PC G4 and PowerPC G5 processors, including vectorization and other algorithmic enhancements. The source code and binary versions are now available for download.

[3] System Administration Tool News: Post.Office 3.6, WEBmail 6, SQL4X Manager J 2.8.5, SyncDeK 5.0
Post.Office 3.6 and WEBmail 6 from Tenon are now available. Both Post.Office, the mail server and list server widely used around the world, and WEBmail, a web-based mail client developed by EMUmail, have been significantly enhanced with feature updates.
SQL4X Manager J 2.8.5 for Mac OS X from MACOSGURU is a professional database tool for web and database developers, administrators and power users. This version includes several interface enhancements and supports new features for Oracle 10g, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, MS SQL Server 6.5/7/2000 and several bug fixes.
SyncDeK 5.0 from WorldSync is a bi-directional asynchronous data replication technology for FileMaker databases. SyncDeK 5.0 is written in Java, leverages XML to manage data exchange, and won a Macworld 2004 Best of Show Award.
[4] Web Development Tool News: BasaOne 1.1
BasaOne 1.1 from Basasoft is a web application IDE. It allows you to write web applications with database access without knowledge of different programming languages, servers, or databases. This version adds alignment guides, translucent drag, creation of class files, enhanced JavaScript a window palette and more.

Xupport 2.1 by Laurent Muller is a system maintenance utility that optimizes system performance, allows administrators to access hidden system and finder settings, clears junk files, and more. This is a maintenance release.
