NFS Manager 1.01 by Marcel Bresink is a small tool for easily accessing the NFS features of Mac OS X. As an operating system with a UNIX core, Mac OS X is able to support the Network File System (NFS) protocol according to Internet specification RFC 1094. NFS is the accepted industry standard for sharing files between UNIX systems.

Rumpus 1.3.6 from Maxum is a high-performance FTP server for Mac OS. Based on Maxum's RushHour TCP/IP implementation, it offers the performance and reliability of high-end workstations, with the ease-of-use, security, and flexibility of the Macintosh. Version 1.3.6 corrects a potential hang/crash that can be initiated by users authenticated for directory creation access.

[7] New Releases: MacApp Release 15, ACS Release 15
MacApp Release 15 is an application framework for creating user-friendly, object-oriented applications for the Mac OS. The primary features of MacApp Release 15 are support for building with Project Builder, the addition of a new framework of helper classes for Mac OS X's Core Foundation, and updates to a variety of Toolbox suites in ACS.

ACS Release 15 (short for Apple Class Suites) is a library of lightweight C++ classes for the Macintosh APIs, which includes some useful Carbon API wrappers that provide convenience and robustness. ACS doesn't require any particular application framework, supports Mac OS X and Mac OS 8/9, works well with MacApp and PowerPlant, and is designed to be usable in any C++ Macintosh application or library.

VSamp 3.2 by Malcolm Haylock is a program and VST plug-in that turns any Macintosh into an OMS or a FreeMIDI multitimbral sample play back module. Configured like a hardware sampler, VSamp can playback on 16 MIDI channels with up to 128 samples per channel. Samples are mapped and enveloped as desired, and can be modulated in real time with low frequency oscillators and resonant filters. Version 3.2 adds the ability to import SampleCell and SoundFont samples and instruments.

CineStream 3.0.1b9 from Media 100 helps you create highly-interactive dynamic media in every major format; Windows Media, Real, or QuickTime. Its streaming media files can now contain "Buy Me!" links, URL flips, and user-directed branching of video clips.

Electric Rain's Swift 3D LW 1.0 is a plug-in that allows LightWave 3D users to render 3D scenes directly to a variety of vector-based file formats, including Macromedia Flash (SWF), AI, EP, and the new XML-based SVG formats. Swift 3D LW renders 3D scenes with exceptionally high accuracy, while staying true to colors, lighting schemes, camera views and animations.

iShell 2.2 by TribeWorks is a media authoring tool for building custom Internet applications, advanced CD-ROM-Internet hybrids, and networked information appliances such as kiosks. Enhancements over iShell 2.0 include HTML 2 support, improvements to the smart caching mechanism, and enhancements to iShell's database feature. It's also been enhanced to better support QuickTime 5.

Movie2MPEG 0.1d6 by Kenji Gotoh is a QuickTime-to-MPEG 1 converter. This version is a Carbon port, and the G4 version supports Altivec acceleration. Also, it's faster, and it supports digital video streams.
