John Casasanta won the 2006 Apple Design Award for best Dashboard widget for his product iClip. Here at the ADC Pavilion, he shows off both the widget and full versions of iClip, his multiple clipboard application for Mac OS X. With each release of Mac OS X, Casasanta is able to add more features to his application. Over the past four years he has received a lot of user feedback and responded by polishing up a lot of the existing features and adding new ones.

Casasanta is just as engaged listening to what users want as Developer Manager on the My Dream App project. Users were asked to submit their ideas for applications they would like to see on Mac OS X. From the 2,700 submissions, three were selected. Atmosphere, the first place winner, is a desktop weather application that Casasanta says you will see fairly soon. The other two winners were a Mac OS X synchronization application and a cookbook application. Such is the community of Mac developers!
