Changing careers to follow a passion can be a recipe for success. Lorenzo Puleo had a successful career as an architect in Italy when he fell in love with the Mac. In 1996, he changed careers to become an independent software vendor. With the help of the international community of Mac developers, he learned several programming languages, and Cocoa.

Lorenzo uses iChat every day to exchange opinions and solutions to problems with developers from other countries and time zones. But sometimes he needs the face-to-face connection, so he travels to WWDC each year to get the latest information from Apple engineers and to attend sessions on core technologies. Puleo came to Macworld 2007 to show off his latest achievement, Kinemac, his 3-D animation application, in the ADC Developer Pavilion.
