The developers at MacBak took a careful look at the kinds of the creative people who use Mac OS X. Eddy Martinez explains that they saw graphic designers, marketers, photographers, and other people who are very smart and very talented but who aren’t technically inclined. Martinez said that they saw an opportunity to help these people who don’t have a backup solution and could go out of business if they lose their laptops or drop them on the pavement.

Macbak’s booth was busy throughout MacWorld 2007 in the ADC Developer Pavilion, and Eddy says he is grateful for this opportunity to reach out to so many people at such an affordable price. He points at his booth and says, “Look at that. They made the signs for us, they gave us an Internet connection, the power strip was down—what more can you ask for?”
