Safari JavaScript Reference

Introduction

The JavaScript functionality present in Safari and its associated Web Kit framework was derived from the original cross-platform Netscape specification and then extended by Apple.

Because JavaScript is not a standard compiled language—rather a client-side interpreted one—there are no header files or other references available within the Web Kit JavaScriptCore subframework. Instead, this reference is provided as an extension to existing JavaScript documentation and as an availability reference specific to Safari and the Web Kit.
