The Quartz Display Services API performs a number of other tasks that are useful when drawing OpenGL to the full screen. “Quartz Display Services and Full-Screen Mode” describes many of them, including enumerating displays and display modes, accessing display properties, fading the display, and programmatically controlling the pointer.
