Quartz provides several functions in Mac OS X v10.4 that support PostScript and allow you to:
Obtain the PostScript name of a font.
Determine whether or not you can create a subset of a font in Postscript format.
Create a subset of a font in PostScript format.
Create a PostScript encoding of a font.
