Convolution Operations

Image convolution is a technique of smoothing an image or sharpening an image by replacing a pixel with a weighted sum of itself and nearby pixels, without changing the size of the image. Convolution uses a convolution kernel, which is a matrix of some size M x N. M and N must both be odd numbers.
