SMIL Importer Implementation

This section discusses in detail some of the features of the QuickTime SMIL importer implementation. Read this section if you need to understand the logic behind this implementation.

The QuickTime SMIL importer creates media presentations in the form of QuickTime movies according to descriptions given in SMIL format. In QuickTime 4.1, the SMIL importer creates a movie with one or more tracks, using the Movie Media Handler.
