ADC Member Site

I'm already a member of the Apple Developer Connection. How do I access my account information?

Please go to the ADC Member Site and enter your Apple ID (account name) and password. If you have an existing account at Apple (.Mac, Apple Store, iTunes Music Store, AppleCare), please use the same account name and password to log in to ADC. You may then view your assets, purchase programs and products, download software, or update your personal profile.

If you have forgotten your password, you may reset by clicking on the "Forgot Password" button. We recommend that you choose the option of having a temporary password sent to you by email. If you choose to reset your password immediately, you must know your Apple ID (account name), birthdate, and the answers to the security question/s you originally selected.

You may retrieve your Apple ID on the My Info website. If you are not able to log in after completing these steps, please contact us for assistance.

You may be required to agree to the most recent version of the ADC Terms and Conditions in order to access your ADC account. You may view and print the PDF version before agreeing.

I have forgotten/want to change my Apple ID and password. What can I do?

If you have forgotten your password, you may reset by clicking on the "Forgot Password" button. We recommend that you choose the option of having a temporary password sent to you by email. If you choose to reset your password immediately, for your protection, you must know your Apple ID (account name), birthdate, and the answers to the question/s you originally selected. If you are not able to log in after completing these steps, please contact us for assistance.

Note: When typing in the incorrect password three times, you will receive the following message: “You have unsuccessfully tried three times to connect. Please try again later.” At this point you can immediately try to connect. Please refresh the login page rather than just using the back button. Sometimes a refresh must be forced by clicking on the refresh button, as sometimes typing in the root URL again is NOT the same as refetching the page, but is just like hitting the back button. Nine consecutive wrong passwords will disable your account, and it must be manually reset by an administrator at Apple. If you continue having problems, please contact us to have your account reset.

You may retrieve your Apple ID on the My Info website. If you are not able to log in after completing these steps, please contact us for assistance.

If you have created multiple accounts, please follow the instructions for consolidating your accounts. Your Apple ID and password are case sensitive. If you received your Apple ID and temporary password via e-mail from the Apple Developer Connection, be sure to enter it exactly as it was provided.

I have multiple accounts. How can I consolidate them?

Maintaining one single Apple account ensures that your membership information, email broadcast preferences, and shipping location are reflected accurately. If you have the same e-mail address listed under two accounts, assets assigned and transferred to you may not go to the proper account. In addition, when requesting technical support, you will most likely experience difficulties and delays. You may consolidate your accounts by completing the following steps:

  • Transfer any active assets to the one account you would like to keep.
  • Please complete a request on our Contact Us page with Subject line "Account Merge." Indicate the Person IDs (these are all numbers and visible in the upper right hand corner on your ADC account pages) of the accounts you want to merge.

I'm not sure if I should agree to the ADC Terms and Conditions online. What happens if I disagree?

The online version of the ADC Terms and Conditions you agree to as an individual will not supersede another written agreement between Apple Inc. and your company. However, you must agree to the ADC Terms and Conditions document in order to create an ADC account. If you disagree and then try to connect again later, you may be denied access. In this case, you will need to contact us for assistance.

Can I use the same e-mail address in two different accounts?

If you need to set up two different accounts, please use a different e-mail address.

WARNING: If you have the same e-mail address listed under two accounts, assets assigned and transferred to you may not go to the proper account. When requesting technical support, you will most likely experience difficulties and delays. If you wish to update your broadcast communication preferences, only one Profile will be changed so you may continue to receive broadcasts based on information from the duplicate account..

  • If you have accidentally listed the same e-mail address in more than one account,, please Update your Profile and edit your e-mail address field.

What is the session limit on the ADC Member Site before I am logged off?

You will be logged off after 30 minutes of inactivity. In order to log off, click on the "Log Off" button. Your download software session will not be interrupted.

How long will it take for my technical support incident/hardware discount asset to be decremented once I use it?

Technical support incidents will automatically be decremented from your ADC account and displayed as such on your asset page within 24 hours. The record of this use will be recorded on your Review History - Used Assets page.

How do I transfer assets?

Any ADC Materials, including seed keys, technical support incidents, hardware discounts, and pre-release software provided to you as an ADC program member may be transferred only to your employees and contractors who have an existing ADC membership.

To transfer an asset, please complete the following steps:

  • Log in to your ADC account using your Apple ID and password.
  • Click “Manage Assets”
  • Select the asset you are transferring and check the “Transfer” box located next to the asset.
  • You will be prompted to enter the email address, account name or person ID of the account you wish to transfer the asset to.

Any assets that have been transferred to your account from another member will be listed on your "Manage Assets - Active Assets" page. You can check the status of any items transferred to or from your account by selecting the "Review History - Transferred Assets" page.

ADC may make business resource materials available to you. Unless otherwise marked, these materials are not confidential and may be freely distributed.

Once I transfer assets to another ADC member, can I get them back?

No. Once you transfer assets to another ADC member, you cannot retract the transfer. The recipient of the assets, however, may transfer them back to you.

How can I tell if I have technical support incidents/hardware discount assets left?

Log in to the Member Site and proceed to your "Manage Assets - Active Assets" page. Technical support incidents are decremented when they are transferred to another e-mail address or if you have sent an e-mail to dts@apple.com. You can also check in "Review History - Used, Expired, or Transferred Assets".
