Quartz Composerパレットをインストールする

Interface BuilderのQuartz Composerパレットには、QCViewとQCPatchControllerの2つの項目が含まれています。QCViewは、コンポジションをウインドウにレンダリングします。QCPatchControllerは、NSControllerのサブクラスで、コンポジションとさまざまなNSViewオブジェクトとの間でCocoaバインディングを作成します。

Quartz Composerパレットは、Interface Builderに自動的にインストールされません。/Developer/Extras/Palettesディレクトリから使用できます。Quartz Composerパレットのインストールを行う必要があるのは1回だけです。パレットをまだインストールしていない場合、以下の手順に従ってInterface Builderにパレットを追加します。すでにインストールしてある場合は、このセクションは読み飛ばしてください。Cocoaアプリケーションの作成手順を実行していれば、Interface BuilderではすでにアプリケーションのMainMenu.nibファイルを開いている状態です。

1. 「Tools」＞「Palettes」＞「Palette Preferences」を選びます。

2. 「Interface Builder Preferences」の「Palettes」ペインで、「Add」をクリックします。

3. /Developer/Extras/Palettes/に移動し、QuartzComposer.paletteを選びます。

4. 「Open」をクリックし、「Interface Builder Preferences」ウインドウを閉じます。

5. 「Tools」＞「Palettes」＞「Show Palettes」を選びます。

   Quartz ComposerのアイコンがInterface Builderパレットのツールバーに表示されます。このアイコンをクリックすると、Figure 3-1に示すように、左側にQCView、右側にQCPatchControllerというように2つの項目が表示されます。
