バイナリがユニバーサルかどうかを知る方法

アプリケーションの「情報」ウインドウの「一般情報」セクションの「種類」エントリを見ると、そのアプリケーションにUniversal Binaryがあるどうかを確認できます（Figure 1-3を参照）。「情報」ウインドウを開くには、アプリケーションアイコンをクリックし、Cmd-Iキーを押します。

インテルベースのMacintoshコンピュータ上で、ネイティブアーキテクチャ用の実行形式を持たないアプリケーションをダブルクリックした場合、アプリケーションは起動することもあります。起動するかどうかは、アプリケーションがRosettaに対してどの程度の互換性を保っているかによります。詳細については、「Rosetta」を参照してください。
