Validating Your App

    Steps

  1. In the Archives organizer, select the application archive you want to validate, and click Validate.

  2. For Mac distribution, select the distribution method, and click Next.

  3. Follow the instructions to complete the process.

Validate your app to find out whether it meets minimum submission requirements.

Before submitting your app for publication on the App Store, you should validate it to ensure that it passes standard iTunes Connect checks.

The screenshot shows the validation-method pane that appears for Mac distribution. This pane doesn’t appear for iOS distribution.
