What is Java 1.3.1 and 1.4.2 Release 2?

Java 1.3.1 and 1.4.2 Release 2 provides numerous enhancements and bug fixes for Apple’s implementation of Java on Mac OS X v.10.4. This release includes compatibility with Sun’s Java 2 Platform Standard Edition, versions 1.4.2_09 and 1.3.1_16.
