What is iTunes Connect?

iTunes Connect provides access to tools and resources developers need for distribution of iPhone and iPod touch applications through the App Store, including application delivery, application management tools, sales information, banking setup, and financial reporting.

How can I get access to iTunes Connect?

Access to iTunes Connect is provided to the Team Agent, who is the original applicant for the iPhone Developer Program. From within iTunes Connect, the Team Agent can provide access to additional members of their team.

Where can I find answers to my questions about uploading my application and setting the correct values in my application’s metadata?

Where can I find out more information about setting hardware and version requirements for my application so that the information is reflected on the App Store?

If I am selling my application on the App Store for a fee, where can I set up banking and tax information?

Developers may set up their banking and tax information in the “Contracts, Tax, & Banking Information” section of iTunes Connect.

Can I submit my banking and tax information at any time or do I need to wait until my application has been reviewed and approved?

Developers may submit their banking and tax information at any time and early submission is encouraged.

Even though I am not based in the U.S., do I have to submit a U.S. tax form or obtain a U.S. tax ID in order to distribute a paid application on the App Store?

Developers who wish to sell their applications in the U.S. will need to submit U.S. tax forms and tax ID in order to distribute paid applications on the App Store. For more information, refer to the iTunes Connect User Guide which is located at the bottom of the “Manage Your Applications” page.

Where can I obtain information about Apple’s royalty payment schedule?
