iPhone Dev Center
What is the iPhone Dev Center?
The iPhone Dev Center provides a complete set of resources for developing iPhone and iPod touch applications, including software downloads, getting started videos, coding how-to's, sample code, and access to a wealth of technical documentation in the iPhone Reference Library.
Can I obtain code-level technical support for development with pre-release software?
While code-level technical support for pre-release software is not available from Apple, members of the iPhone Developer Program can post their questions to the Discussion Forums. Additionally, the iPhone Dev Center provides links to technical resources that can assist you with your development. You may also file a bug report if you feel that you've identified a bug or would like to file an enhancement request.
What are the system requirements for the iPhone SDK?
To develop with iPhone SDK and participate in the iPhone Developer Program you must have an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X Leopard. Refer to the iPhone SDK Read Me document for full details on system requirements. Please note that you must become a Registered iPhone Developer prior to accessing the iPhone SDK and iPhone SDK Read Me document.
I'm not an iPhone Developer Program member, but I am a free Registered iPhone Developer. What do I have access to?
As a free Registered iPhone Developer you have access to iPhone SDK 3.0 and the related resources and information available to you on the iPhone Dev Center. To get access to the tools and information necessary to test applications on devices join the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program.
