Program Enrollment - Purchase & Activation

After purchase, how long will it take to receive my activation code?

It may take up to 24 hours from purchase for you to receive this code.

I've enrolled in the iPhone Developer Program and want to find out the status of my enrollment. How can I do that?

You can check the status of your iPhone Developer Program enrollment by logging into the iPhone Dev Center and reviewing the Program Enrollment section located on the upper right side of the screen. You must be logged in to see the current status of your enrollment. If you have any additional questions related to the status of your enrollment not addressed in your logged in view of the iPhone Dev Center, please contact us.

If I enroll as an Individual in the Standard program can I use someone else’s credit card to purchase the Program?

The billing information provided for the purchase must exactly match the Program enrollment information. If this information does not match your enrollment will be delayed and you will be asked to provide a notarized copy of a government issued identification.

What are the system requirements for the iPhone SDK?

To develop with iPhone SDK and participate in the iPhone Developer Program you must have an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X Leopard. Refer to the iPhone SDK Read Me document for full details on system requirements. Please note that you must become a Registered iPhone Developer prior to accessing the iPhone SDK and iPhone SDK Read Me document.

What happens after my purchase is completed through the Apple Online Store?

Once the purchase is completed, you will receive an activation email within 24 hours. Click through the link provided in the email to activate your Program membership purchase.

I haven’t received my activation code email. What should I do?

It may take up to 24 hours from purchase for you to receive this code. If it has been more than 24 hours, please contact us to receive another activation code email.

I’m receiving an error message when I try to redeem my activation code. What should I do?

Please contact us so that we may assist you.

My organization is tax exempt.  How do I join the iPhone Developer Program without having to pay tax?

If your organization has already been qualified by Apple as being tax exempt, please complete your purchase using the Apple ID associated with that account and be sure to check the tax exempt box when completing the purchase process.
