Scripting
Scripting with AppleScript provides a relatively simple mechanism for automating operations and controlling applications or other software. Scripters can write AppleScript scripts to control both scriptable applications and scriptable parts of the Mac OS. The Script Editor application is available in Mac OS X to compile and execute scripts. Developers can use AppleScript Studio to provide sophisticated user interfaces for applications that execute AppleScript scripts. |
