AAT Font Quality Specification

Appendix B. Minimum required glyph repertoire

a desert line goes here
[NOTE] This updated glyph repertoire list is a superset of the original Apple 226 + "extra 32" glyphs. The original 226 glyphs must be located in their defined glyph positions; these positions are noted where applicable.

The new glyphs can be located in any glyph position, and therefore do not have glyph IDs indicated. The glyph repertoire has been supplemented to provide complete glyph sets for the following languages:

    • Breton
    • Catalan
    • Croation
    • Czech
    • Danish
    • Dutch
    • English
    • Estonian
    • Faeroese
    • Finnish
    • Flemish
    • French
    • German
    • Hungarian
    • Icelandic
    • Irish
    • Italian
    • Latvian
    • Lithuanian
    • Maltese
    • Norwegian
    • Polish
    • Portuguese
    • Romanian
    • Slovak
    • Spanish
    • Swedish
    • Turkish

Where possible, a representation of the glyph is shown, to provide assistance in identification. These should not be taken as indications of what the glyph should actually look like. The glyph names are also for purposes of identification only, and do not necessarily represent true TrueType or Postscript names. In addition, the classifications in which the glyphs are grouped are for reference convenience only, and should not be considered as definitive.

This list is sorted by glyph order, not by glyph ID. For a list of the Apple 226 glyphs in glyph ID order, see the TrueType Font Format Specification, appendix B-2.

[NOTE] Due to the number of specialized glyphs shown in the following list, the entire list has been stored as graphics images rather than text.
