The DumpCMAP Tool

The DumpCMAP tool allows you to dump the contents of a font's 'cmap' table into a text file, which you can then edit. The edited file can subsequently be used as input to the FuseCMAP tool (q.v.)

To use the tool, double-click it. The first dialog which appears allows you select the font containing the 'cmap' you wish to dump. The second dialog lets you name the text file which will be created. The final dialog contains a popup menu listing all the 'cmap' tables present in the font you chose. Choose the one you wish to dump.

Once the tool is finished, the text file it created is available for you to edit.
