The DumpPOST Tool

The DumpPOST tool allows you to dump the set of names defined in a font's 'post' table into a text file, which you can then edit. The edited file can subsequently be used as input to the AAT Font Tool, by using the "Use Name List..." command in the File menu of the AAT Font Tool. It can also be used as input to the FusePOST tool.

To use the tool, double-click it. The first dialog which appears allows you select the font containing the 'post' you wish to dump. The second dialog lets you name the text file which will be created.

Once the tool is finished, the text file it created is available for you to edit.
