When downloading segmented versions of the documentation, you should download the first segment last. This is because expansion of the first segment triggers joining of the downloaded files.

Note: Many of the archives posted to the developer FTP site as of September 15 hace been compressed using StuffIt 5 or later. For best results, please download the free StuffIt Expander™ 5 software from Aladdin Systems, Inc. StuffIt Expander is also available on the Mac OS 9 CD included in the October 1999 ADC Mailing. If you have installed Mac OS 9 there will be no need to download any new version of StuffIt Expander since Mac OS 9 includes StuffIt Expander 5.1.2, which is compatible with all newer and older format archives.

ACS Network Suite (PDF) The ACS Network Suite guide describes the Network framework component of the MacApp application framework as of MacApp Release 13.

Programmer's Guide to MacApp The Programmer's Guide to MacApp describes MacApp as of MacApp v3.3.3 with some edits for MacApp Release 12. MacApp Release 12 was not substantially different from MacApp v3.3. Though MacApp Release 13 changed many routine names and radically altered the file structures the fundamental structure and operation of MacApp Release 13 has not changed -- the Programmer's Guide should still be of significant value to you in understanding and programming with MacApp.

MacApp Assistant (QuickView) This version of the MacApp Assistant is relevant to MacApp v3.3.3 and MacApp Release 12. The major changes to function names undertaken in MacApp Release 13 make the MacApp Assistant of marginal value to your work therein.
