I submitted my product for the Apple Design Awards, how do I know it was received?
You will receive an email confirming your contest registration but will not be contacted to confirm receipt of your submission. The date and time stamp on your contest entry will be used as your official contest entry date and time. If you do not receive an email confirmation of registration via web or email, please contact us. Be sure to include your name, product name, date and time of entry.
I submitted my product for the Apple Design Awards, how will I know if I have won?
Winners will be officially announced at the Apple Design Award ceremony held during the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2009, June 8-12 at Moscone West in San Francisco. Winners do need not be present to win. At Apple's discretion, winners may be notified by email or phone prior to WWDC 2009.
What are the judging criteria?
Entries in each category are judged using a fixed set of criteria described in detail in the Official Contest Rules (Section IV: Judging).
Why aren't developers from all countries eligible to participate in the Apple Design Awards?
Unfortunately, at this time only countries that are listed in Section I: Eligible Countries of the Official Contest Rules are able to participate in the Apple Design Awards.
What is the deadline for entry?
Contest entries and any special hardware and/or third-party software must be received by 5 PM (PST) Monday, May 4, 2009. No exceptions will be made.
