Scientific Development Poster Session
If you're performing cutting-edge scientific or medical research and development using Apple tools and technologies, come share your solutions and breakthroughs with your peers at the WWDC 2008 Scientific Development Poster Session. The Poster Session is a showcase of innovative applications created using the power and flexibility of Mac OS X.
Ideal posters will highlight the use of Mac OS X tools and platforms in creating native scientific or medical applications or solving technical problems.
In order to participate in the Poster Session, you will need to submit an abstract for approval by Friday, May 23, 2008.
If your abstract is accepted, you’ll be able to display a poster and present your work to the WWDC community during the Poster Session.
Potential poster subjects include:
- Desktop applications or libraries
- Mobile web applications
- Innovative workflows incorporating automator actions or scripts
For examples of successful posters, please see the accepted posters and podcasts from WWDC 2007.
WWDC 2008 is a developers conference, so accepted posters will have a focus on the use of Apple development technology in innovative or creative ways. Posters focusing on podcasts or presentations only will not be accepted.
Review the Abstract Submission and Poster Session Guidelines before submitting your abstract.
Please note: Submission of an abstract does not automatically guarantee a spot in the Poster Session. Abstracts will be reviewed and acceptances emailed on a rolling basis. FInal acceptances will be sent via email by May 28, 2008. You may submit an abstract at any time, but presenters must hold a WWDC 2008 E-ticket in order to present at the Poster Session (confirmed recipients of WWDC Student Scholarships are considered fully paid attendees).
