A stepper lets the user incrementally increase or decrease a numeric, date, or time value. For example, in VoiceOver Utility, steppers let you adjust the rate, pitch, volume, and intonation for a voice. A stepper resides next to a field that displays its current value, because the stepper itself doesn't display a value.
