You can add a navigation bar to the top of a view to display a title, navigation buttons, and other interface elements. The Settings app uses a navigation bar to show a title that provides context, letting you know where you are in the app at all times.

Be aware of transparency. A navigation bar is transparent by default, so any content scrolling beneath is clearly visible. Make sure interface elements on the bar don’t appear to collide with the content below. Consider fading the content as it scrolls under the bar to visually separate it from the elements above.
