SpriteKit and SceneKit
Add custom UI elements with SpriteKit or SceneKit content to your app or notification interfaces. SpriteKit provides a graphics rendering and animation infrastructure for manipulating textured images. SceneKit provides a similar infrastructure for 3D content. These technologies animate images programmatically, rather than relying on a sequence of images, resulting in smaller app sizes and the ability to change animations later.
Although commonly used for implementing games, SpriteKit and SceneKit are not limited to game environments and can be used to render custom data sets or any content that your app supports. You can even include SpriteKit and SceneKit content in your custom notification interfaces to enrich the experience for users. Use gesture recognizers to handle interactions with your content.
