An Autosave Elsewhere operation, which writes a document’s contents to a file or file package that is separate from the document’s current location, without changing the document’s current location.
- macOS 10.7+
NSDocument subclass that overrides
autosaves to have the value
true, this is used during autosaving of documents that have never been saved and therefore do not yet have a document file that can be overwritten during autosaving.
NSDocument may also pass
NSAutosave when invoking
write while duplicating or reverting a document.
