# sortIndicatorRect(forBounds:)

Returns the location to display the sorting indicator given `theRect`.

func sortIndicatorRect(forBounds rect: NSRect) -> NSRect
```

## Parameters

`rect`

A cell rectangle.

## Return Value

The rectangle within `theRect` that should contain the sorting indicator.
