# GetCustomerGroupsResponse

A response that contains the groups a customer belongs to, and their role in each group.

## Discussion

This response contains information that you request by calling the [`Get Customer Groups`](/documentation/AppStoreServerAPI/Get-Customer-Groups) endpoint.

Each [`GroupEntry`](/documentation/AppStoreServerAPI/GroupEntry) in the `groups` array identifies one group the customer belongs to. An entry for a group with a [`groupType`](/documentation/AppStoreServerAPI/groupType) of `ORGANIZATION` also contains the customer’s role for each of your products in that group.
