The time ranges of the player item’s time line that represent interstitial content.
- tvOS 9.0+
Interstitial content is material unrelated to the main content of the player item, such as advertisements and legal notices. When you present a player item containing interstitial time ranges with the
AVPlayer class, the interface marks those time ranges differently on the playback timeline. You can also customize an
AVPlayer object to prevent the user from skipping such content or to find out when playback of interstitial content happens.
