Instance Property

displayModeSwitchInProgress

A Boolean value that indicates whether clients should behave as if the display is in the middle of changing modes.

Declaration

@property(nonatomic, readonly, getter=isDisplayModeSwitchInProgress) BOOL displayModeSwitchInProgress;

Discussion

The accuracy of this setting depends on the hardware and the nature of the mode switch. The mode switch may last several seconds or longer. When displaying temporary content or user interface elements, such as hints or tips, leave them visible for longer than the mode switch takes, to ensure that the user will see them. This property is observable.
