# CFNetServiceGetType(_:) Gets the type from a CFNetService. ``` func CFNetServiceGetType(_ theService: CFNetService) -> Unmanaged ``` ## Parameters `theService` The CFNetService whose type is to be obtained; cannot be `NULL`. ## Return Value A CFString object containing the type from a CFNetService. ## Discussion This function gets the type of a CFNetService. ### Special Considerations This function is thread safe.
