# CGPathRelease

Decrements the retain count of a graphics path.

```

## Parameters

`path`

The graphics path to release.

## Discussion

This function is equivalent to <doc://com.apple.documentation/documentation/CoreFoundation/CFRelease>, except that it does not cause an error if the `path` parameter is `NULL`.
