# green

Returns the unpremultiplied green component of the color.

## Discussion

If the [`CIColor`](/documentation/CoreImage/CIColor) was initialized with a `CGColor` in a non-RGB `CGColorSpace`
then it will be converted to sRGB to get the green component.
