Returns an empty document node.

```

## Return Value

An empty document node—that is, an [`XMLDocument`](/documentation/Foundation/XMLDocument) instance without a root element or XML-declaration information (version, encoding, standalone flag). Returns `nil` if the object couldn’t be created.
