FxKeyframeAPI_v2

The FxKeyframeAPI_v2 protocol defines the host application’s methods that allow plug-ins to set and retrieve keyframes for the parameters they have.

Overview

Using the FxKeyframeAPI_v2 plug-ins can query the host application to find out whether keyframes exist at a given time, and retrieve information about the nearest previous keyframe and nearest next keyframe.

This protocol is only available to FxPlug 3 plug-ins.

Getting Keyframe Information

- param:channel:hasKeyframe:atFxTime:

Tells whether there is a keyframe at a given time.

Required.

- keyframeInfo:atOrBeforeFxTime:fromParam:andChannel:

Returns the info about the nearest previous keyframe.

Required.

- keyframeInfo:atOrAfterFxTime:fromParam:andChannel:

Returns the info about the nearest next keyframe.

Required.
