## Overview

Use an [`INRequestPaymentIntentResponse`](/documentation/Intents/INRequestPaymentIntentResponse) object to specify the details of a payment request that you make. After creating the object, assign the details of the payment transaction to the [`paymentRecord`](/documentation/Intents/INRequestPaymentIntentResponse/paymentRecord) property, the details of which Siri communicates to the user at appropriate times.

You create an [`INRequestPaymentIntentResponse`](/documentation/Intents/INRequestPaymentIntentResponse) object in the [`confirm(intent:completion:)`](/documentation/Intents/INRequestPaymentIntentHandling/confirm(intent:completion:)) and [`handle(intent:completion:)`](/documentation/Intents/INRequestPaymentIntentHandling/handle(intent:completion:)) methods of your handler object.
