Class

mapkit.MapSize

A pair of values in map units that define the width and height of a projected coordinate span.

Declaration

interface mapkit.MapSize

Overview

If you project the curved surface of the globe onto a flat surface, you get a 2D version of a map where longitude lines appear to be parallel. Such maps are often used to show the entire surface of the globe all at once. A mapkit.MapSize data structure represents a horizontal and vertical distance as measured on this 2D map.

Topics
