# MPMovieMediaTypesAvailableNotification

Posted when the available media types in a movie are determined. There is no `userInfo` dictionary.

```
extern NSString * const MPMovieMediaTypesAvailableNotification;
```

## Discussion

To retrieve the available media types in a movie—audio, video, or both—access the movie player’s [`movieMediaTypes`](/documentation/MediaPlayer/MPMoviePlayerController/movieMediaTypes) property. The movie player whose state has changed is available as the object associated with the notification.
