Instance Property

gpuStartTime

The host time, in seconds, when the GPU began executing this command buffer.

Required.

Declaration

var gpuStartTime: CFTimeInterval { get }

Discussion

This value can be used with the gpuEndTime property to obtain optional timestamp reflection data. Both properties are typically queried in the addCompletedHandler(_:) callback, or after a call to the waitUntilCompleted() method.

This value is 0.0 if the GPU has not yet executed the command buffer. The default value is 0.0.
