Instance Property

peerGroupID

The peer group, if any, that the GPU belongs to.

Declaration

@property(readonly) uint64_t peerGroupID;

Discussion

Some Mac computers have multiple GPUs directly connected to each other, allowing data to be transferred from one GPU to another without first going to system memory. When GPUs are connected in this way, they're said to be in the same peer group.

If this property has a nonzero value, the GPU associated with the device object is part of a peer group. All GPUs in the same peer group share the same value for this property. If the value is 0, the GPU isn't part of a peer group.
