Instance Method

releaseDrawables

Declaration

- (void)releaseDrawables;

Discussion

Your application calls this method to release the texture objects in order to conserve memory when the application goes into the background.

The drawable texture objects consume a large amount of memory, so call this method whenever the view is not going to be used to display content for a significant period of time.
