Instance Property

accessibilityAttributedHint

The underlying attributed version of the accessibility hint.

Declaration

@property(nonatomic, copy) NSAttributedString *accessibilityAttributedHint;

Discussion

Setting this property changes the value of the accessibilityHint property and vice versa.

This attributed version allows for the inclusion of language attributes in the string to control pronunciation or accents. For example, a French proper name like "Arc de Triomphe" could be attributed with the accessibility speech language fr-FR. VoiceOver then chooses the most appropriate voice to speak your content.
