# changePassword(_:toPassword:)

Changes the record’s password.

func changePassword(_ oldPassword: String!, toPassword newPassword: String!) throws
```

## Parameters

`oldPassword`

The record’s old password. Can be `nil` if the user has the proper permissions.

`newPassword`

The new password.

## Discussion
