# makeCharacterIterator()

Returns an iterator that will construct `Character`s from the underlying
UTF-8 content.

func makeCharacterIterator() -> UTF8Span.CharacterIterator
```

## Discussion

The resulting iterator has the same lifetime constraints as `self`.
